Here are way too many spots. It may look like I've just thrown everything up here, but it's actually just a fraction. The focus is on my work as a full-time, on-staff copywriter. That's when I had full control over the process, from the writing through to the end of post-production. Alas, the chain of custody is far murkier as a freelancer. But enough preamble. I'll shut up and let you have at it. Watch a half-dozen commercials or go crazy and watch them all — whatever floats your flotilla. See you on the other side.

NIKE: MOST VALUABLE PUPPETS - ESPN TAKEOVER
This one needs some explanation. I did three rounds of extensions for Nike's Most Valuable Puppets campaign out of Wieden+Kennedy Portland. The first ESPN takeover took place during the NBA Playoffs and included dozens of appearances across the full range of ESPN shows. Unfortunately, I never got around to asking for copies. The second round was built around the drop of LeBron's new shoe and the final four clips here are from that phase. Admittedly, they don't make a ton of sense without the context of the campaign they were supporting. But, still, jokes are jokes so here they are.

Congratulations. You made it to the end. So that's me so far. This reel is heavily weighted to comedy because that's my wheelhouse, but my freelance assignments have really run the gamut. For example, I worked on an unnamed client for years and years without working in a single quip, whimsical observation or smart-ass comment the entire time. Do I expect some kind of medal? No, not at all. Why, was my name mentioned? What did you hear? Never mind, I'll let it be a surprise.
